Dirty Scooters - Lambretta Li 150 series 2 restore and 64 GL malossi 221

this blog is a record of my scooter projects. The Dirty Rocket is finished for now, and I am about to begin restoring a '58 Lambretta Li150 series 2. The Dirty rocket started out as an attempt to build my ideal scooter from a rusted bare heap for as little money as possible. (The frame is a '57 VNA) now a 64 GL frame. Low carbs = low energy

I had a few beers after the dyno day, got home, logged on and ordered a new carby.
A 30mm keihin PWK clone from scootrs
Two reasons...
1) I need one sooner or later to match the needs of the kit and pipe
2) I want one

When the time comes to transplant into the GL frame, I will be losing autolube and starting to premix my 2-stroke oil. I am very dubious about the quality of my particular stock carby, so I thought what the hell, let's get it on. Jive talk aside, I want to get the engine setup as well as possible before the switch so I can focus on the inevitable electrical, braking and bodywork nightmares.
